Mika Vainio died on April 12, 2017.

He was a Finnish electronic and experimental musician.

He was a member of Pan Sonic.

The group was founded in Turku in 1993.

Other members includs Ilpo Väisänen, and Sami Salo.

Hwever, in 1996, Salo left leaving Pan Sonic a duo.

Originally called Panasonic until 1998, during December 2009, it was announced that Pan Sonic would disband after their December 2009 concerts.

Gravitoni, there last album was released by Blast First Petite in May 2010 and ‘Oksastus’, a live album recorded in 2009, was released in 2014.

Mika Vainio passed away at 53 years old.
