Sergei Nailevich Gimayev was born on January 1, 1955 and died on March 18, 2017.

He was a Soviet professional ice hockey player.

Gimayav played ten seasons (1976–86) in the Soviet Championship League with HC CSKA Moscow and Leningrad SKA.

Following the end of his career as a player, Gimayev worked as a TV sports presenter.

He died in Tula.

Sergei Gimaye passed away at 62 yeasr old.
