Shaker Wahib al-Fahdawi al-Dulaimi, known as Abu Waheeb (“Father of the Generous”) died in 2016.

He was a leader of the militant group Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant in Anbar, Iraq.

Abu was known for the execution of three Syrian Alawite truck drivers in Iraq in the summer of 2013, as head of the Al Anbar Lions.

Waheed and three others were killed in a United States-led coalition airstrike in May 2016, according to the US Department of Defense.

The Pentagon confirmed on May 6, 2016, that Abu Waheeb was killed along with four of his companions in a US airstrike that targeted an ISIS gathering in the center of Rutba, while travelling in a vehicle, which is the eighth time there has been an announcement of his death.
