Ivan Roy Davis, Jr. born on February 4, 1932, and died on March 12, 2018.

He was an American classical pianist.

Ivan Davis received his Bachelor of Music in 1952 from University of North Texas College of Music and an Artist’s Diploma, as a Fulbright Scholar, from the Santa Cecilia Academy in Rome.

Ivan Davis won second prize in 1956 and 1957 Ferruccio Busoni International Piano Competition and first prize in the 1958 St. Cecilia Piano Competition.

During April 1960, he won the Franz Liszt Competition at Town Hall, New York City.

He studied under Silvio Scionti, Carlo Zecchi, and Vladimir Horowitz.

Ivan Davis died at 86 years old.
