Andrzej Kotkowski was born on February 17, 1940, and died on January 15, 2016.

He was a Polish film director and screenwriter.

Kotkowski directed seventeen films between 1972 and 2009.

In 1964, Kotkowski graduated from the Faculty of Law at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow.

Andrzej graduated from the College of Production Film School in Lodz, in 1968

Andrzej Kotkowski made his debut in the 1973 television movie tortoise, based on the story Marek Nowakowski.
