Antoine Demoitié was born on October 16, 1990, and died on March 27, 2016.

Antoine Demoitié crashed on March 27, 2016, when he went down in a pile-up of several cyclists and was then hit by a motorcycle in the Gent–Wevelgem road race.

Antoine Demoitié passed away at 25 yrs old, in hospital.
