Bazilije Pandžić, Croatian historian, archivist and orientalist, Died at 101

Bazilije Stjepan Pandžić was born on January 30, 1918 and died on April 16, 2019.

He was a Croatian historian, archivist, and orientalist from Herzegovina.

Pandžić entered the Franciscan Order in 1935.

He was ordained for a priest in 1941.

Pandžić served as the general archivist from 1947 to 1985 and analyst of the Franciscan Order in Rome.

During 1958, Pandžić was elected vice-president of the International Association of Church Archives.

Pandžić 100th birthday was in January 2018.

Pandžić died in April 2019 at the age of 101.
