Bob Walsh died on November 20, 2016.
He was Canadian blues singer and guitarist.
He played the Montreal International Jazz Festival many of times and released 11 albums, including 2015 after the Storm.
Bob won the Félix award at the 2003 ADISQ gala as the artist with the most success in a language other than French (beating out, among others, Céline Dion), and in 2013 was given the Blues With a Feeling lifetime-achievement award by the Toronto Blues Society.
Recently, Bob Walsh had triple bypass surgery in 2013 and had been coping with major health issues from then.
He died at Montreal’s Notre-Dame Hospital, after suffering a heart attack.
