Bryan Robert Avery was born on January 2, 1944, in Berkshire, England and died on July 4, 2017.

Bryan had spent some of his younger years in Lymington in the New Forest, Hampshire.

Avery studied architecture at Leicester College of Art (now the De Montfort University), followed by a MA in the History and Theory of Architecture at Essex University under Professors Joseph Rykwert and Dalibor Vesely.

Avery established his own practice Avery Associates Architects in 1976.

That practice has built a wide range of projects ranging from theatres and museums to offices and educational buildings, many of which have won respected awards.

Bryan Avery passed away at 73 years old.
