Carlos Alberto Silva was born on August 14, 1939, and died on January 20, 2017.

He was a Brazilian football manager.

He graduated in physical education by Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, became famous managing Guarani in its 1978 Brazilian Championship title.

Silva managed the Brazil national football team, between 1987 and 1988.

Carlos Alberto Silva passed away at 77 years old.
