Chris Leatherbarrow died on November 1, 2015.

He was a British rugby league referee.

He began officiating in the amateur and semi-professional game before being promoted to Super League.

Leatherbarrow was the referee for the Leigh vs Salford pre season game on Boxing Day.

He left behind his wife Nicola McLellan and daughter Daisy Olivia.

Chris Leatherbarrow passed away at 26 yrs old.
