David Sánchez Cantú was born on February 2, 1992, and died on May 19, 2017.

He was a Mexican professional boxer.

He was the winner of the WBA Interim Super Flyweight Title by defeating Breilor Teran in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico.

He died with his brother, fellow professional boxer Jonathan, after the car they were traveling in, from Hermosillo to Poblado Miguel Aleman, collided with a tractor at the Hermosillo to Bahia Kino highway.

David Sánchez passed away at 25 years old.
