Dennis Burns Sullivan died on October 30, 2015.

He was an American food executive.

Dennis Sullivan attended The University of Detroit Jesuit High School and Academy.

He served in the U.S. Air Force and return home to earn bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business from the University of Detroit.

Dennis began his career in sales at General Foods before moving to Detroit-based Vlasic Pickles, where he became the president of the company.

Towards the sale of Vlasic Foods to Campbell Soup in 1978, Dennis opened a local office for Management Recruiters International Inc. and in 1981 founded the Sullivan & Associates, which became the largest executive search firm in metro Detroit and a licensee of Boyden Executive Search.

He served as a trustee for the Brother Rice Dad’s Club, Lourdes Senior Community, the Cardinal Club of Detroit and Henry Ford Health System,

Patricia was is wife and his sons, Christopher William, Daniel Burns and Michael John; and seven grandchildren will miss him dearly.

Dennis Burns Sullivan passed away at 74 years of age on October 30, 2015.
