Dimitar Dobrev, Bulgarian wrestler, Died at 87

Dimitar Dimitrov Dobrev was born on April 14, 1931, and died on April 1, 2019; he was a Greco-Roman wrestler from Bulgaria, where he spent most of his professional career.

He was the Olympic champion in the middleweight division of Greco-Roman Wrestling at the 1960 Summer Olympics.


Dimitar was born in Ezerche, Dobrev was a mathematician, and, before his competitive wrestling career, he was a gymnast.

Dimitar Dimitrov Dobrev passed away on April 1, 2019; he was 87 years old.
