Gary Glasberg was born on July 15, 1966, in New York City, and died on September 28, 2016.

He was an American television writer and producer.

Gary was the showrunner on NCIS and creator of NCIS: New Orleans.

His production company is called When Pigs Fly Incorporated.

He started out writing for animated shows such as Rugrats, Duckman and Aaahh!!! Real Monsters.

His credits include Crossing Jordan, The $treet, The Evidence, Bones, Shark and The Mentalist.

When he died, Gary was the writer for NCIS.

He was married to writer Mimi Schmir and had two sons.

He died in his sleep in Los Angeles.

Gary Glasberg passed away at 50 years old.
