Giuseppe Ciarrapico, Italian politician and football executive, Died at 85

Giuseppe Ciarrapico was born on January 28, 1934, in Rome and died on April 14, 2019.

He was an Italian entrepreneur, publisher and politician.

Giuseppe Ciarrapico served from 1991 and 1993, as the president of the football club AS Roma.

He also served as the senator of Italy for Silvio Berlusconi’s The People of Freedom party from 2008 to 2012.

Giuseppe Ciarrapico was convicted and imprisoned several times due to his involvement in financial scandals.

Ciarrapico was also the owner of the large mineral water plants in Fiuggi.

Giuseppe Ciarrapico founded a newspaper in 1997, Oggi Sicilia, which was shut down in 2000.

He spent his childhood in Ciociaria.

Giuseppe Ciarrapico passed away at 85 years old.
