Hayat Saif, Bangladeshi poet and literary critic, Died at 76

Saiful Islam Khan, known as Hayat Saif was born on December 16, 1942, in Dhaka, and died on May 13, 2019.

He was a twentieth century modern Bengali poet and literary critic from Bangladesh.

He was a lifelong administrator.

Saiful Islam Khan resigned in 2000 and from that point forward was occupied with the corporate private segment.

He also partitioned his time in World Scouting and scholarly and masterful interests.

His selected work has been translated into English and Spanish and, in Bangladesh.

Renowned as an acclaimed scholarly translator of contemporary life and culture.

He took on his pen name in 1961 when he makes a contribution to literary journals.

Saif was awarded the 305th Bronze Wolf in 2005.

He was awarded Ekushey Padak in 2018 for his contribution in language and literature.

Moslem Uddin Khan and Begum Sufia Khan were his parents.

Tahmina Islam Laki was his spouse.

He passed away at 76 years old.
