Jean-Guy Allard was born in 1948, and died on August 16, 2016.

He was a Canadian journalist.

Jean worked as an editor and reporter for Le Journal de Montréal and Le Journal de Québec from 1971 to 2000.

Allard retired to Cuba, and later wrote for Granma.

Allard wrote several books, including one on Robert Ménard and Reporters without Borders, and one on Luis Posada Carriles.

Jean-Guy Allard passed away at 68 years old.
