Joaquim Alberto Silva, Angolan footballer, Died at 45

Joaquim Alberto Silva was born on March 4, 1974, and died on April 15, 2019.

Joaquim was also known as Quinzinho and was an Angolan footballer who played as a striker.

Joaquim spent the vast majority of his career in Portugal and China, amassing Primeira Liga totals of 123 matches and 28 goals during seven seasons in the former country.


He also competed professionally in Spain.

He appeared for Angola in two Africa Cup of Nations tournaments.

His son, Alexandre, is also a footballer. he was born in Portugal; he played for them at youth level.

On 15 April 2019, Joaquim, at the time working for U.D. Vilafranquense as a physiotherapist, he suffered a heart attack after jogging in Alverca, Joaquim Ribatejo died shortly after, at the age of 45.
