John C. Carpenter was born on October 13, 1930, in Fallon, Nevada and died on November 19, 2016.

He was an American businessman, rancher, and politician.

He graduated from White Pine High School in Ely, Nevada.

During 1957, John bought a sheep ranch in Elko, Nevada where he lived with his wife and family.

John served as president of the Nevada Woolgrowers Association.

He served on the Elko County Commission. From 1987 to 2011, Carpenter served as a Republican member of the Nevada Assembly.

Carpenter was a rancher, real estate broker, and businessman.

John C. Carpenter passed away at 86 years old.
