Jon Polito was born on December 29, 1950, and died on September 1, 2016.

He was an American actor and voice artist.

During a film and television career spanning 35 years, he amassed over 220 credits on IMDb.

His notable television roles included Det. Steve Crosetti in the first two seasons of Homicide: Life on the Street and on the first season of Crime Story.

Jon appeared in several films including The Rocketeer, The Crow and Gangster Squad but was most widely known for his work for the Coen Brothers where he appeared in five of their films including Miller’s Crossing, Barton Fink and The Big Lebowski.

He died due to cancer.

Jon Polito passed away at 65 years old.
