Kazuo Kumakura, born on January 30, 1927 in Minato, Tokyo, and died October 12, 2015.

He was a Japanese actor, voice actor, and theatre director.

He is affiliated with the Theatre Echo agency.

Kazuo Kumakura was a pioneering voice actor in films and cartoons.

He took advantage of his distinctive nasal voice, he was active in dubbing such TV programs as “Alfred Hitchcock Presents” and “Hyokkori Hyotanjima” from the 1950s.

Kazuo was also popular as a unique character actor in TV dramas and variety shows such as “Gebageba 90 Minutes.”
