Gerasimos (Makis) Dendrinos was born on May 27, 1950, and passed away on October 20, 2015.

Makis was a Greek professional basketball player and coach.

He was the coach of the Greek National Squad from 1994 to 1996.

Makis won the 4th place at the 1994 FIBA World Championship, the 5th place at the Basketball at the 1996 Summer Olympics and the 4th place at Eurobasket 1995.

Makis has coached Pagrati BC, Panionios BC and Iraklis BC.

He played for Panionios BC and for the Greek National Squad.

Makis died at age 65 in October 2015.
