Nadja Regin

Serbian actress Nadja Regin was born Nadezda Poderegin on December 2, 1931 and died on April 8, 2019.

Nadja Regin was a known actress in two James Bond films; Russia with Love, as the mistress of Kerim Bey, and smaller roles in the pre-credit sequence of Goldfinger.

Some of Regin TV roles included Danger Man, The Saint, and Dixon of Dock Green.

She was also the understudy for the episode “Girl on the Trapeze” of the TV series The Avengers, however, the role went to actress Mia Karam.

Nadja Regin was a student at the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade and also the University of Belgrade’s Faculty of Philosophy.

Regin started out her acting career during her college years.

Further-on she expanded through Yugoslav-German co-productions to Germany, and after thst, to the UK, Austria and New Zealand.

The actress was best known for her roles in several British films and TV programmes in the 1960s, and the 1964 New Zealand film Runaway.

Nadja Regin died at age 87.
