Shih Chi-yang, Taiwanese politician, Died at 84

Shih Chi-yang was born on May 5, 1935, and died on May 5, 2019.

He was a Taiwanese politician.

He was appointed the Vice Premier of the Republic of China from 1988 to 1993.

And also chairman of the Executive Yuan’s Mainland Affairs Committee, which was established in 1988.

Shih Chi-yang was the first Minister of the Mainland Affairs Council of the Executive Yuan after it was established in 1991.

Chi-yang served as the President of the Judicial Yuan from 1994 to 1999.

Jeanne Li was his wife.

Shih Chi-yang died at home in Sanxia District, New Taipei.

The politician passed away at 84 years old due to multiple organ failure
