Sven Lindqvist, Swedish author, Died at 87

Sven Oskar Lindqvist was born on March 28, 1932, in Stockholm and died on May 14, 2019.

He was a Swedish author of mostly non-fiction.

His works such as Exterminate All the Brutes and A History of Bombing.

Sven Lindqvist holds a PhD in History of writing from Stockholm University (his postulation, in 1966, was on Vilhelm Ekelund).

During 1979 he earned a privileged doctorate from Uppsala University.

In 1960– 1961, he functioned as social attaché at the Swedish international safe haven in Beijing, China.

He has written over thirty books of essays, aphorisms, autobiography, documentary prose, travel and reportage.

From 1956 he was hitched to the sinologist Cecilia Lindqvist, with whom he had two youngsters.

During 1986 he wedded the financial expert Agneta Stark.

Sven Oskar Lindqvist was living in the Södermalm, central Stockholm.

Sven Oskar Lindqvist passed away at 87 years old.
