Thomas Hynes, American politician and lawyer, Died at 80

Thomas C. Hynes was born on November 5, 1938, and died on May 4, 2019.

He was a previous Cook County, Illinois Assessor, President of the Illinois Senate, elected for civic chairman of Chicago, Illinois (in 1987) and nineteenth Ward Democratic Committeeman.

Thomas Hynes is the dad of previous Illinois Comptroller Dan Hynes.

He was born on the south side of Chicago, Hynes served in the United States Army Reserve as a skipper.

Hynes got his four-year college education from Loyola University Chicago and his law degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.

Hynes specialized in legal matters and showed law at John Marshall Law School (Chicago).

He died at the Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois.

Thomas Hynes passed away from complications due to Parkinson’s disease at 80 years old.
