Trifon Marinov Ivanov/ Трифон Маринов Иванов July 27, 1965, and died on February 13, 2016.

He was a Bulgarian international footballer.

He played as a defender.

He made his Bulgaria debut in 1988, earning 76 caps and scoring 6 goals over a ten-year international career.

Trifon Ivanov appeared in the 1994 and 1998 FIFA World Cups, as well as the 1996 UEFA European Championship.

The footballer also participated in the UEFA Euro 1996 in England.

Trifon Ivanov passed away at 50 yrs old due to a heart attack.
