Yevgeny Krylatov, Russian composer, Died at 85

Yevgeny Pavlovich Krylatov was born on February 23, 1934, in Lysva, and died o May 8, 2019, in Moscow.

He was a Russian composer.

Krylatov wrote over 120 songs for Soviet and Russian movies.

He also made songs for animated films.

He came from a family of Pavel Krylasov and his wife Zoya.

Finally, he changed the name obtained at birth, because of her frequent mangling.

He graduated from the Perm Music School.

During the Moscow Conservatory (1953-1959) he took classes at two faculties: he took composition with Professor Mikhail Chulaki and in the class of piano with Professor Vladimir Nathanson.

Yevgeny Krylatov passed away at 85 year old.
